Yasmin Crowther is the author
of “The
Saffron Kitchen”. She is the Director of Consulting at “SustainAbility”, and co-head
of its London office. Yasmin Crowther spent part of her childhood in Iran. She
has a BA in English from Oxford University, and an MA in International
Relations from the University of Kent in Canterbury. During the early 90s,
Yasmin Crowther worked for the Iraqi opposition. She has also worked for Shell
UK, the environmental consultancy URS/Dames & Moore, and also the
international PR company Ketchum. “The Saffron Kitchen” is her debut novel. At
the time her book deal was struck in March 2005, Yasmin Crowther was 35.
