Where were you born and raised?
Columbus, Georgia.
What was it that first got you into writing and
when did you start writing?
I have always been a reader and had a slight interest in
writing. In 2000 I bought a computer and with a title and nothing more I began
writing my first book "Murder at Republic."
Which writers have influenced you the most?
I don't
know about influenced but I have enjoyed reading Ann Rice, Steven King and
Arthur Conan Doyle.
What kind of things do you write?
I have
written three mysteries, one horror and a western.
What are you working on now?
I have taken up short story writing. I have
currently ten short stories in the www.amazon.com
short story program. They sell short stories for .49 cents to read online or to
download.
What is your writing day like?
I
mostly write early in the morning. I get up at seven a.m. and write for two or
three hours.
What’s the most exciting thing about writing for
you?
Creating
and manipulating the characters. Fiction writing is like a game of chess where each
move can change the outcome.
What’s the most frustrating thing about writing
for you?
Becoming known.
What’s the
best piece of feedback that you’ve had from your audience?
Everyone
who has read my books have said that they enjoyed reading them and I have had
reviews by readers who were nice enough to post them.
Do you write
for a particular audience, or is your first priority to satisfy your own
creativity?
I don't
know what people like to read. So it's not possible for me to write for anyone
else. I get the title first and then find the story to go with it.
Do you have a homepage? Do you have any short
stories or poems published online? (If so, please provide the URLs):
