Oh my! I have always told stories...from the time I was five years old I created stories. Later, my friends and I acted them out.  When I was in my twenties and thirties, I wrote articles for newsletters etc.  When I was in my forties, I began to write poetry and won many awards. From there, I moved on to novels.

What is your writing day like?

I rise early and begin writing about 7:00 a.am. until about 11.00a.m. After that, I pick up and answer e-mails. Afternoon is spent doing research on novels, working on advertising and running errands. Hopefully, evening is spent with friends or family. If I have a deadline for a manuscript, well then, I write.

What’s the most exciting thing about writing for you?

There are so many exciting things about writing. I suppose the best is seeing my dream become a reality.

What’s the most frustrating thing about writing for you?

Reading drafts over and over again making sure everything is perfect.
