Suffolk coast. After many months though, Kate is beginning to debate the wisdom
of leaving London, as she has had to sacrifice her career, her friends, and a
large degree of independence as they live in her mother-in-law’s house. It’s
difficult to find a new house, especially with Simon working all hours. But
then, one evening, Kate stumbles upon the house of her dreams… As Kate becomes
friends with the house’s aged and dying owner, Agnes, she is astonished to find
