T. M. Jenkins is the author of "The Waking" (May
2006). She began his career as a journalist writing for newspapers, which led
to her writing a column for "The Evening Standard". Tina Jenkins then
moved into TV work, where she read the news for Thames TV and became a reporter
for ITN. She also worked for Sky News, and made a cameo appearance as a
newsreader on "Red Dwarf". She now produces and directs documentaries
for the BBC and Channel 4. Tina Jenkins lives in Hollywood.
