Stephen Moran was born in Dublin in 1954. He
is the author of a short story collection "The London
Silence" (Pretend Genius Press, 2004). Other stories anthologised in
"The Monkey's Typewriter" (Raymond Williams Award, 2005) and "Fish Drink
Like Us" (2006). His first paid story appeared in the Dublin Evening
Press (c. 1972, under a pen name). There was a long delay till the next pay
cheque from “Bird Times” (USA, 2002). Several of his short stories are online
