Novelist Sophie King was born in 1959. "My
current novel "The School
Run" is being described by my publishers as a 'best-seller'
because it has sold nearly 50,000 copies. It's about different
families on the school run whose lives collide. My new novel "Mums@home"
is being published on June 5th by Hodder. It's about a group of parents who
meet through a parenting website with dramatic consequences. I am also a
journalist (under the name Jane Bidder) and write for "The Times",
"Woman" magazine and others. I write short stories for "Woman's
Weekly" and "My Weekly"." Sophie King is also the author of
Second Time
Lucky (2007).
