Biography (from publisher Bloomsbury): Shannon Hale’s first book, The Goose Girl, was published in 2003. Enna Burning and River Secrets are companion books which followed in 2004 and 2006 respectively. Princess Academy is a Newbury Award winning title and New York Times bestseller. The Book of a Thousand Days is Shannon Hale’s latest book. Shannon and her husband are currently co-writing a series of graphic novels for kids. Look out for Rapunzel’s Revenge, coming soon! Although she usually writes for children, Shannon Hale has also written a novel for adults - Austenland.
