Scott Snyder is the author of “Voodoo Heart”, a
collection of short stories. He first came to the public’s attention with his
extraordinary story “Blue Yodel”, which was published in “Zoetrope All-Story”
in 2002. “Happy Fish, Plus Coin” was published in “One Story” in 2002, “About
Face” in “Epoch”, and “Voodoo Heart” in “Tin House” in 2005. He has also been
published by “The Reading Room”. Scott is a graduate of the Columbia University
MFA program. He once worked at Disney World in Orlando as a janitor, then a
roller-skating janitor, before being allowed to inhabit the suits of Pluto,
Eeyore, and Buzz Lightyear. Scott Snyder lives in Coram, New York, where he
teaches writing in a high school. He is currently at work on his debut novel, “The
Flight of the Fizz King”.
