Rebecca Frayn is the author of
“One Life”. As well
as being Michael Frayn’s daughter, Rebecca Frayn has several other claims to
fame, including an appearance in the movie “Love, Actually” (as a
photograph!). She was trained by the BBC as a film editor, and then went on to
have a successful career as a freelance director. In 1991, she co-wrote and
co-directed “The Ghosts of Oxford Street” with Malcolm McLaren, which was
broadcast on Christmas Day. She has also worked as a director for “The South
Bank Show”, “Modern Times”, “Without Walls”, and “Cutting Edge”. Rebecca
Frayn’s writing credits include “The Last Laugh” (1993), a contemporary version
of “Othello”, “Killing Me Softly” (1995), and “Only the Lonely” for “Kavanagh
QC” (1997).
