Rachel Hore is the author of “The Dream House”
and “The Memory
Garden” (2007). Rachel Hore was born in Epsom, Surrey. She worked as a
publishing editor for 18 years, going on to hold the post of Senior Editorial
Director for fiction at HarperCollins. Amongst the many authors she edited were
Barbara Erskine, Sidney Sheldon, Cathy Kelly, Craig Thomas, Jane Asher, Isabel
Wolff, and Susan Howatch. Since 2001, Rachel Hore has been writing, editing,
writing book reviews for “The Guardian”, teaching publishing skills at the
University of East Anglia, and assisting new authors at the Hilary Johnson
Authors’ Advisory Service. Rachel Hore lives in Norwich. She is married to the
