Miranda
Dickinson is the author of the Authortrek Short Story Remember.
Miranda
Dickinson was born in 1973 and grew up in Kingswinford, in the Black Country.
She studied for a BA (Hons) in Performance Art at Cheltenham and Gloucester College
of Higher Education, graduating in 1994.
She has worked in a variety of jobs, including a
tour guide at a nuclear power station, an office manager for a bag factory and,
most recently, a copywriter for a major political party. (But don’t hold that
against her!)
Miranda is a regular contributing writer for www.myvillage.com, covering strange summer
music festivals, local interest stories and national film reviews, and many of
her short stories appear on www.helium.com.
A singer-songwriter with over 15 years’ experience,
she has enjoyed radio play across Europe and is currently recording her first
solo project album. She was a semi-finalist in the 2007 UK Songwriting Competition
and has worked with several internationally renowned producers.
Miranda has recently completed her first novel,
which she hopes to podcast and publish this year. She lives in Stourbridge,
where she enjoys uninterrupted views of canal boats and a glass foundry!
