Luke Romyn is the author of the Authortrek short story The Choice.

Luke Romyn was born in Sydney, Australia. After living in Fiji for a short time Luke returned to Australia and entered the unglamorous world of being a nightclub bouncer – a profession to which he proved remarkably well suited. His caustic wit and quick thinking often overwhelming the various individuals he had to deal with each night without Luke ever having to lift a hand.

Ten years and various jobs later, Luke began to broaden his horizons and spent a year working and travelling around the world. During this time, he also spent a great deal of time compiling research for his first book as well as practising his new craft of writing at every opportunity.

Short stories such as The Choice and Sin were completed with excellent response from people in the writing industry and Luke finally finished travelling and knuckled down to complete his novel: The Dark Path.

In order to pay his bills whilst continuing to write, Luke started doing high-profile bodyguard work, both in Australia and overseas. He most recently finished working on the Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks epic The Pacific – due for release in 2009.
