"A woman needs a man
like a fish needs a
bicycle"
I don't need a man
To feed me, put
a roof over my head.
I can change
my own light bulbs
I have a ladder.
I'm a capable
self-sufficient, satisfied
woman with many
sustaining friendships.
HOWEVER
I'd like a man
to hold me
and let me rest
my head in his collar bone.
To kiss me and let me
be moved by his
strength.
To take my hand and
for me-for once
to be at a total
loss for words.
