Krista Bridge’s “A Matter of
Firsts” was one of the winners of the 2005 Journey Prize. Her work has also
been published in the anthology “05: Best Canadian Stories”, as well as being
nominated for a “National Magazine Award”. Krista Bridge’s short fiction has
been published in “Descant”, “Toronto Life”, “PRISM International”, and
“Prairie Fire”. Her debut collection of short stories, “The Virgin Spy”,
is scheduled for release in 2006. She has also interviewed Elisabeth Harvor for
“Books in
Canada – The Canadian Review of Books”. Krista Bridge was awarded an MA in
English by the University of Toronto. She lives in Toronto, and is currently
working on her first novel.
