Kirsty Crawford is the author
of “Other
Women”, “The Secret
Life of Husbands”, and “Wife, Once Removed”.
She was born in New Zealand, and lived there until she was 7, when her family
moved to the UK. She always wanted to be a writer when she was growing up, and
wrote her first novel when she was 12. When her parents divorced, Kirsty and
her 2 brothers lived with their father. Kirsty Crawford was awarded a first
class degree in English by Oxford University (she attended Christ Church
College). She was interested in the stage also, which led to her acting in many
student productions, including a touring production of “Twelfth Night”, and 2
plays at the Edinburgh Festival. Before becoming an author, Kirsty worked as an
editor with a variety of publishers, and was most recently a publishing
director of Heinemann. “Much Have
I Travell’d” is the title of a collection of travel quotations that Kirsty
Crawford edited. Kirsty Crawford lives in Stockwell, London, with her family.
