Kevin Lewis is the author of
the novels “Kaitlyn”,
“Frankie”, and the 2
non-fiction titles “The Kid: A
True Story” and “The Kid
Moves On”, which gave an account of a traumatic early life. He grew up on
an estate in South London, where he was beaten and starved by his parents. Kevin
was also bullied at school. His only escape from this world was to be put into
care. However, when he was 17, Kevin got mixed up in London’s criminal world,
where he was nicknamed “the Kid”. Yet Kevin survived despite the odds, also
overcoming bulimia and suicidal tendencies. The rights to “The Kid” have been
bought by a film company. “Kaitlyn” is Kevin Lewis’s debut novel. Kevin Lewis
is married with 2 children, and lives in Oxted, Surrey.
