Kate Hubbard is the author of "Rubies in the Snow:
Diary of Russia's Last Grand Duchess, 1911-1918". She was born in
London in 1963. Kate Hubbard went on to study at Oxford University. Kate
Hubbard has had a variety of jobs: as a teacher, a researcher, a book reviewer
for "The Times" and "The Spectator", and she still works as
a reader for Bloomsbury. Kate Hubbard has had several non-fiction titles
published: "A Material
Girl: Bess of Hardwick 1527-1608" (2001), "Charlotte
Bronte: The Girl Who Turned Her Life Into a Book" (2001), and "Queen
Victoria: The Woman Who Ruled the World" (2003). Kate Hubbard lives in
Dorset and London.
