K. D. Lathar is the author of “The Changeling”.
K. D. Lathar self-published his novel under the imprint of Tarragon Publishing.
The manager of Ottakar’s in Witney was so impressed by a proof copy of the
novel that he sent it to head office, which led to the novel being included in
Ottakar’s three-for-two promotion. A proof copy of the novel was also sold on
eBay for £155.00. In September 2005, Mango Seed Productions approached Kamal to
make a documentary about him. Kamal got the idea for the novel during a
discussion with his 12-year-old son about life. K. D. Lathar grew up in
Edgbaston, and went to Holly Lodge Grammar School in Smethwick. He went on to
study astrophysics at university, and works as an IT consultant. At the time of
writing, K. D. Lathar is 45 years old. K. D. Lathar lives in Oxfordshire.
