Joanna Kavenna is the author of
the non-fiction title, “The Ice
Museum: In Search of the Lost Land of Thule” (2005), and the novel “Inglorious”. Joanna
Kavenna grew up in Suffolk and the Midlands, but she has lived in a variety of
different countries since then. She has had writing fellowships at St.
Anthony’s College, Oxford (as the Alistair Horne Fellow), and St. John’s
College, Cambridge. Her writing has appeared in a variety of publications: “The
Daily Telegraph”, “The Observer”, “The New York Review of Books”, “The London
Review of Books”, “The Guardian”, “The Spectator”, “The International Herald
Tribune”, and “The Times Literary Supplement”.
