Jan Costin Wagner is the author
of “Ice Moon”
(“Eismond”). He was born in 1972 in Langen/Hesse near Frankfurt. Jan studied
German Literature and History at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in
Frankfurt. Jan Costin Wagner’s first novel, “Nachtfahrt” (“Night Trip”),
garnered a lot of praise, and won him the 2002 Marlowe Prize for Best Crime
novel, awarded by Ulm’s Raymond Chandler Society. Jan Costin Wagner is also the
author of “Schattentag” (“Day of Shadows” 2005). He still works occasionally as
a journalist, but with less frequency since he became a successful novelist.
Jan Costin Wagner currently lives in Finland, as his wife is Finnish, so it’s
not too surprising that his favourite player is Jari Litmanen.
