My name is Jan Jones. My first novel, "Stage by
Stage", is published by Transita and won the Romantic Novelists'
Association New
Writers Award in 2005. It is a romantic comedy about Beth - a
harassed teacher and mother of stage-mad teenagers - and Owen, a wickedly sexy
touring actor who lodges in her house when the Company comes to town. You can

As well as "Stage by Stage", I have written poems and many short
stories for women's magazines. Some of my stories are included in the "Sexy
Shorts" anthologies from Accent Press, the most recent being "Sexy
Shorts for the Beach".
I am a member of the wonderful Romantic Novelists' Association
and help to organise their annual conference.
