James Scudamore is the author
of “The
Amnesia Clinic”. He was born in 1976. His childhood was spent in various
countries, such as Ecuador (where “The Amnesia Clinic” is set), Brazil, and
Japan. Not surprisingly, James Scudamore studied Modern Languages at Oxford
University. He then worked in the advertising industry for 4 years. Amongst the
projects he worked on were Richard Branson’s bid to take over the National
Lottery, the redesign of Snap, Crackle, and Pop’s hats, and the development of
a Bart Simpson cereal called “Eat My Shorts”. James Scudamore was even invited
on BBC Radio 4’s “You and Yours’” to discuss the re-branding of the Girl Guides
Association. However, this was not enough, so James Scudamore then embarked on
the famous Creative Writing MA at the University of East Anglia. “The Amnesia
Clinic” is James Scudamore’s debut novel.
