Ian McGuire is the author of “Incredible Bodies”,
his debut novel. He has had short stories published in “The Chicago Review”
(“The Varieties of Religious Experience” 1994), and “The Paris Review” (“The
Red Monk” 2001). His academic articles have appeared in “The Journal of
American Studies”, “Victorian Poetry”, and “The Mickle Street Review”. Ian
McGuire teaches American literature at the University of Manchester. He lives
with his family in Manchester.
