Iain Hollingshead is
the author of "Twentysomething"
(May, 2006). Iain Hollingshead is himself twentysomething. He writes the column
"Loose Ends" for "The Guardian", and also writes feature articles for other
newspapers, such as "The Daily Telegraph" and "The Sunday Times". In 2003, he
was awarded a first class degree in History by Cambridge University. While he
was a student, he founded and edited the satirical magazine "The Cambridge
Slapper". Iain Hollingshead was runner-up in "The Guardian" Student Media Awards
in the Columnist of the Year category. After leaving university, Iain worked for
a year at Westminster, at Vote 2004, and the private office of Michael Howard. "Twentysomething"
is Iain Hollingshead's debut novel, which won him the dubious honour of the
Literary Review’s Bad Sex in Fiction Award in 2006.
