Helen Bryan is the author of the novel “War
Brides” (2007). She is also
the author of “Martha
Washington, First Lady of Liberty” which received an Award for
Merit from the New York Colonial Dames in 2003. The novel is about a group of
women who form lifelong bonds during the Second World War. Helen Bryan is an
American academic who lives in London.
