“Goodbye Lucille” is the working title of Segun Afolabi’s debut novel. The novel is set in mid-80s Berlin, London, and Nigeria. It’s the story of a young Nigerian photographer, and has been influenced by Segun Afolabi’s time in East Germany as the son of a Nigerian diplomat.
