Frank Barnard is the author of
“Blue Man
Falling”, a World War II novel which promises to do for the RAF what “Band
of Brothers” did for the US Army. The sequel, “Band of
Eagles” (2007), is set in Malta, and features many of the same characters.
Frank Barnard trained as a journalist, but moved into PR, where he worked as a
managing director for major international consultancies. He quit the world of
PR at 50 to dedicate his time to writing and to racing cars. He is also a keen
sailor, and enjoys sea fishing near his home in Rye, Sussex.
