Dalia Sofer is the author of
the novel “The
Septembers of Shiraz” (2007). The novel is set in Tehran after the 1979
revolution, as a Jewish family flee Iran after the false imprisonment of the
father. The novel is partly autobiographical. Dalia Sofer is a freelance writer
in New York who writes for a variety of publications, including the “American
Journal of Nursing” and “Poets.org”.
