Linda is fed up at being taken for granted by her successful, executive
husband, and refuses to go with him on a Rotary trip. Linda hopes that she will
persuade Jim to go on a walking holiday instead. However, Jim even resorts to
using their adult offspring in a bid to change her mind. So Linda sets off on
the walking holiday on her own, and finds that the ups and downs of the hills
lead her to reflect on her life, and to reconsider her future… And then she
meets Nick, another lone walker… Could there be more than one route to
