Andrew Wilson was born in 1967
in Oswaldtwistle, part of Lancashire. He read English at King’s College,
London, and graduated in 1989 with a First. He won the Willis Memorial Prize
for an investigation into male prostitution. In 1992, he embarked on his career
as a freelance writer. Andrew Wilson has written for “The Daily Telegraph”,
“The Guardian”, “The Daily Mail”, and “The Independent on Sunday”, amongst
others. His first book was the biography “Beautiful
Shadow: A Life of Patricia Highsmith”. His debut novel, “The Lying Tongue”,
sparked a great deal of interest at the Frankfurt Book Fair, as “The Bookseller”
has reported. Andrew Wilson lives in London.
