Andrew Lloyd-Jones was born in
Anchorage, Alaska in 1971. He read
English literature at the University of York. He writes for the “HHCL/Red Cell” advertising agency in
London. In 2001, his short story
“Original Sins” was amongst the winners for the Canongate Prize for New
Writing. He was also amongst the
winners for the 2002 Bridport Prize with a short story called “Lay-by”. He supplemented this success by winning
the Fish Short Story Prize in 2003 with “Feathers
& Cigarettes”. He is currently working on a novel.
