Alex Scarrow is the author of “A Thousand Suns”
and “Last
Light”. He is the brother of the novelist Simon Scarrow. After leaving St.
Albans Fine Art College, Alex spent 10 years in the music business. He spent
the next 12 years in the computer games industry, firstly as a graphic
designer, and then as a games designer. Some of the games that Alex has worked
on have been “Evolva”, “Spartan”, “Waterworld”, “The Thing”, “Gates of Troy”,
and “Legion Arena”. “A Thousand Suns” is Alex Scarrow’s first novel, although
he is also working to get a separate series, entitled “Ellie Quin”, published.
Alex Scarrow has described the Ellie Quin series as a “sort of ‘Thelma and
Louise’ in Space”. Alex Scarrow currently lives in Norwich with his family.
